How much road base do I need for a driveway?
Multiply length by width by depth, all in metres, then multiply by 1.5 for tonnes. A driveway 15 m long, 3 m wide and 150 mm deep is about 6.75 m³, or roughly 10 tonnes. Allow extra for compaction. The minimum order is 5 tonnes, and the calculator does the sum for you.
